Nesting In the Spring

Nesting in the Spring! It is common for women to get the urge to clean and organize during the spring, thus the old adage, “spring cleaning.”

Some speculate that this is triggered from being cooped up all winter and wanting something new.

Others believe that the desire to get outside and enjoy the weather leads some women to organize the house, so they are free to go enjoy the outdoors.

Whatever the reason it is a time to de-clutter. Put away the winter clothes and bring out spring and summer wear.

Pops Of Color

It is also a time to put away the warm cozy winter palettes and bring in fresh sprigs of green, and pops of color. Go lighter and brighter. Trend toward light and airy and away from dark and drabby. Add some flowers and fun pots, change out your pillows and bedding. Move the furniture away from the fireplace and locate it facing toward the outside views.
